This marketplace is set up inside of the Coral Gables Congregational UCC Church. It features a ton of unique and beautiful products from all over the world, and everything sold here is made using ethical practices, meaning you can feel good about your shopping choices.
Shops by the Falls
Considered a hidden gem by many, the Shops by the Falls strip mall is full of wonderful local businesses that you’re sure to love. We love the new-age shop called Five Sisters, as well as the yarn and knitting store called Elegant Stitches. Best of all, this shopping center is rarely crowded.
Located in the beautiful Coral Gables neighborhood, Miracle Mile is a great way to experience this area. This eye-pleasing shopping district features Mediterranean-style architecture across 200 shops, galleries, cafes, hotels, and salons. You’ll even find a theater onsite!
The Design District is a unique place to do some shopping. The stores in this area are mostly dedicated to design and architecture, meaning you’re sure to find some beautiful and interesting pieces while shopping there.

Craving an amazing sandwich? La Sandwicherie is the place for you. This late-night French-style sandwich shop serves heaping helpings of almost any topping you can imagine on fresh-baked bread. This is the place to go after a late night of partying, but can be enjoyed just as much by those who are having a quiet night at home.
Another great sandwich stop, Enriqueta’s is the place to go for a Cuban sandwich. Since Miami is well known for their Cubanos, this is a must-stop spot that is perfect for lunch or dinner.
You have to have some tacos while in Miami, and Coyo Taco is the place to do just that. Make sure you show up with plenty of room because you’re probably going to want to try more than a couple of these yummy tacos.
Everyone loves a good bagel, and the bagels at El Bagel are some of the best out there. This incredible little shop often has a line out the door, but the bagels are well worth the wait. Pro tip: If you want to beat the line, order online before you leave home.
Since it’s beginning way back in 1950, Shiver’s has been a local favorite for delicious barbecue. Try the baby back ribs, pulled pork, and brisket along with sides of fried corn, sweet potato soufflé, and fried pickle chips. It’s all authentic and 100% delicious.

We love that No. 3 Social is a rooftop bar, something you don’t find often in Miami. On top of that, the place serves up some incredible cocktails and has special event nights, as well as an excellent Happy Hour that even extends into the weekends.
Looking for a place that offers hours of entertainment? Basement might be for you. This place is a dance club, bowling alley, skating rink, and bar all rolled into one super energetic package. This is a popular spot with celebrities and even attracts some world-class DJs.
Nikki Beach Miami
Those who want to immerse themselves in the beachy feel of Miami will appreciate Nikki Beach Miami. This super popular beach club features tiki bars, cabanas, and some super fun island decor. Great global cuisine makes dining here an interesting experience, and the drinks are excellent.
Sunset cruises are the perfect way to end any southern Florida day. Everyone knows that south Florida has the best sunsets, and they are even better when you’re out on the water. Monkey Jungle is the perfect family-friendly attraction that everyone in your group is sure to remember for years to come. The park was established in 1933 for the study and rehabilitation of monkeys. These days, the park is home to over 300 primates and provides fun for hundreds of families each year.
Everyone loves a good aquarium, and the Miami Seaquarium is an especially fun one. In fact, many would even go so far as to say this is Florida’s best aquarium. Swim with dolphins or seals, meet penguins, and surround yourself with some of the most beautiful creatures of the deep when you visit this incredible place.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
If you have older kids in your crew, you might want to consider a visit to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The gardens here are fantastic, and the historic home—which once belonged to businessman James Deering—is both lovely and full of history. Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden

Relax on the Beach at Cape Florida State Park
No trip to Miami is complete without a day at the beach, and one of our favorite places to get some beach time is in Cape Florida State Park. This beautiful park features a lighthouse, rental bikes and boats, and one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
Hike the Bal Harbour Trail
Perhaps the most well known hiking trail in the Miami area, Bal Harbour Trail is a must-see for hiking enthusiasts. This easy four-mile walk offers some seriously incredible views of the beach. You may also find some pretty wildflowers along the way, adding color to your walk.
Go Kayaking at Matheson Hammock Park
Many people consider Matheson Hammock Park a hidden gem when it comes to kayaking. Even though the calm waters are perfect for beginner kayakers, they are rarely crowded.
Bike the Shark Valley Trail
The perfect trail for biking, Shark Valley Trail is a full 15 miles long, and every single mile is as beautiful as the last. Best of all, it’s a relatively flat trail, meaning it’s an easy and relaxing ride full of scenery such as beautiful birds, native vegetation, and the occasional gator.
